5.16.180 Violation—Civil remedies.

        If any park owner demands, accepts, receives or retains any payment of rent in excess of the maximum lawful space rent, as determined under this chapter, then the homeowners in such mobilehome park affected by such violation, individually or by class action, may seek relief in a court of appropriate jurisdiction for injunctive relief and damages. The prevailing party will recover costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees as part of any court judgment. (Ord. 48U § 1, 1991; prior code § 6719)
